[Case Study] 35% Cost Reduction at Yokoyama
Freely customize the fingertips of the gripper to match the shape of the product! Stable gripping is possible.
At Yokoyama Industries, which manufactures automotive seat frames and various automotive parts, there was a need to automate part of the production process using metal press machines. At the same time, employees needed to maintain safe access to the press machines. By combining the OnRobot RG2 gripper with AUBO cobots, the manual processes of loading and unloading parts were fully automated. Employees no longer had to perform repetitive tasks, and while maintaining safety and high-quality output, a total cost reduction of 35% was achieved.
